Hey, so I was going to make an introduction for this, but it would either lag badly as a level, or look weird. So here's a comment about everything instead!

I decided to do a soft reboot of my Waves series by refining some things and creating a much more complete concept. This is the first iteration of that, and is meant to act as an open book in terms of level design.

I spent a few days making this thing and learned a ton about optimizing my workflow, creating new design elements and finding the limitations within the editor. You see, I intended to make 4 waves for this level, but seeing as 3 waves had already dealt a significant hit to performance, I decided to leave it as that. Nonetheless, I'm happy with the final result!

I would love to hear your thoughts on this; what you like about it, and what not. If you prefer the original Waves series and why.

This one's for you MD: The new advanced text editor is great! If it wasn't for that, I wouldn't have been able to finish this level because I couldn't save at the end. But the new text editor allowed me to!

The workflow introduced by having the advanced text editor by my side also makes me feel at ease. I had an issue in the editor, where everytime I tried to delete a part, the core would jump out of position and inherit the rotation, scale and position of the part I removed. By using the advanced text editor I could clean that up without having the core move. I also found a use for it in this particular case, where the level got so large that I needed to split it into a new level, and combine the two at the end to form the complete level. It worked flawlessly!

I'm looking forward to pushing the limits of whats possible in zetaflow in the future. Cheers!
